We asked for your springtime photos and you responded with a bounty: Appalachian sunrises, dazzling dogwoods, bathing robins, garden-buzzing bees and flowers galore.

The News Sentinel received more than 270 submissions -- and over 400 photos -- to our photo contest, and we thank you for them. Great work!

Now it’s time to choose the best of the best - and you get to help.

Our photo department has chosen 10 finalists. Use the poll to to the right of the photos to cast your vote. Click on the thumbnails to see a larger version.

The photo receiving the most votes will be published in the News Sentinel, and the photographer will receive a $150 gift certificate from Thompson Photo Products. Two top finalists will receive $50 gift certificates each.

Thanks again for all your submissions, which remind us all how beautiful spring is in East Tennessee.
