Take a break . . .in Gatlinburg!

Make your Spring Break special this year with a trip to Gatlinburg. It's a popular destination for college friends and multi-family trips alike. Bring the family for spring fun and get ready to experience an unforgettable getaway. Plus, don’t forget Springfest is just around the corner (starting in March). It’s the perfect opportunity to explore Spring Done Right, including great shopping, fine dining, and luxury lodging for your stay.

Zeno will be everywhere this year, Tunes & Tales will be expanded, and when combined with Bicentennial activities, Gatinburg can expect many more tourists in 2007-08.

The city's Bicentennial activities include a partnership with Great Smoky Mountains National Park to kick off events with a concert by Ralph Stanley and the Clinch Mountain Boys as the first in a series of Music of the Mountains concerts. A Civil War battle re-enactment will be held in July, Mountainfest will feature an Old Timers Day in August, and there will be a display of founding families portraits, among other things.
